My experience in kidnappers dean, yet my best year because I am alive to tell the story this new year

Its been a wonderful year for me and my family. God’s faithfulness was shown upon me and thank God, I am alive to celebrate it. I want to thank all of you who contributed to my being alive. On the 14th of August, I was kidnapped along Kachia Kaduna road. Walking for over six hours from the road to the kidnapper’s camp. My entire family was devastated and some started losing hope I might not come out alive.

I saw hell and wished I can share some of the pictures of my kidnapped on this platform. I was blindfolded, beaten, chained like a criminal of war. It was the ten worst days of my life. It is never something you should wish even your worst enemy.

Your prayers and financial support made me be among those that came out alive. It is something I will remain grateful for the rest of my life. Special thanks to my family, especially my brothers Haruna S. Gajere and James Gajere.

To my undergraduate classmates, extended family, a million thanks. My church, friends, and many of you I cannot mention thank you all. Night vigils were held on my behalf and my house was always filled with people coming to support my wife and children during the said period.

After ten days, I was released after a ransom was paid.

It is my best year because I am lucky to be alive to see the last day of the year. To God be the Glory.

It was also my best year because of the love shown to me. It was really beyond my imagination.
