Today, 16/02/2026, terrorists are currently attacking Ehwakya of Ugom Community, Maro Ward, Kajuru LGA, Kaduna State. The situation is extremely tense and frightening. The terrorists are shooting indiscriminately in all directions, throwing the entire community into panic and confusion. Sadly, two young men from our community has been confirmed dead.
Mr. Bitrus David Age 25 and Goma Idi age 40.
At the same time, it is with great pain and heavy hearts that we announce another tragic incident. People who attended the burial of Late Pa Usman Muhammed, the father of Hon. Elder Usman D. Stingo, at Dogon-Noma of Ugom Community, were also attacked by these same terrorists. During this attack, four vehicles were confirmed burned to ashes. Among them were the official vehicle belonging to Hon. Dauda Madaki, the Council Chairman of Kajuru LGA, the vehicle of Hon. Usman D. Stingo, and others.
Some people managed to escape by the grace of God, but many are still unaccounted for, and their identities and conditions are yet to be confirmed. This is the painful and heartbreaking reality our people are facing again and again—living in fear, uncertainty, and constant attacks.
This is our situation, as usual, and our hearts are broken. We are calling on all well-meaning individuals, authorities, and humanitarian bodies to please come to the aid of the vulnerable people of Ugom Community. Our people need urgent help, protection, and intervention before more innocent lives are lost.
