In another wave of the attack last night at Atisa Community, still around Kurmin Masara area, 5 people have been confirmed dead, several houses burnt and properties destroyed.
The enemies of our peaceful coexistence are determined, but so are we in our resolve to bring this disturbing trend to an end. We shall not relent until peace is restored and the perpetrators are fished out.
I condole with the families of the victims and assure them that as a government at this level, we will leave no stone unturned to bring lasting peace to our lands. I also enjoined all peace-loving people of Zangon Kataf and beyond to be law-abiding and alert, as we look forward to the triumph of good over evil.
